Fall 2025 Epilogue:
After 18 Fall 2025 best-of-7 MLB playoff games (the most since 19 total games in Fall 2023), one four-game sweep, and two series going the full seven games, MLB crowns a repeat champion in the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Field Road Warriors:
Mirroring the Spring 2025 performance of the two-time NHL champion Florida Panthers, the two-time MLB champion Los Angeles Dodgers won both their MLB Semifinals and MLB Finals series without home-field advantage. The 2025 Los Angeles Dodgers thus follow the 2003 Florida Marlins, the 2006 St. Louis Cardinals, the 2014 San Francisco Giants, and the 2019 Washington Nationals in winning both their best-of-7 MLB Semifinals and the best-of-7 MLB Finals (absent home-field advantage in each round) en route to the MLB championship.

Spring 2025 Epilogue:
After 84 Spring 2025 best-of-7 NBA playoff games (the most since 84 total games in Spring 2023), two four-game sweeps, and four series going the full seven games, the NBA crowns a first-time champion in the Oklahoma City Thunder. After 86 Spring 2025 best-of-7 NHL playoff games (the fewest since 84 total games in Spring 2021), no four-game sweeps, and three series going the full seven games, the NHL crowns a repeat champion in the Florida Panthers.

Ice Road Warriors:
In a best-of-7-era NBA/NHL first, NHL teams in Spring 2025 lacking home-ice advantage (as in playing Game 1 of a best-of-7 playoff series on the road) won 1) all four NHL Quarterfinals (Conference Semifinals) series, 2) both NHL Semifinals (Conference Finals) series, and 3) the NHL Finals.

NHL Comeback of Spring 2025:
The Winnipeg Jets trailed the visiting St. Louis Blues Sunday 04 May by one goal as late as 19:56 into the third period of their Game 7, but emerged victorious: In the history of best-of-7 NHL playoff games from 1939 through 2024, inclusive, home teams down one goal as late as 19:56 into the third period had a game record of only 2-487 (.004) - the Winnipeg Jets thus achieve a grade-A (.000 - .099) in-game comeback.

NBA Comeback of Spring 2025:
On Thursday 24 April, the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder trailed the Grizzlies in Memphis by 26 points at halftime in their Game 3, but won. In the history of best-of-7 NBA playoff games prior to Thunder-Grizzlies Game 3 (1947-2025, inclusive), road or home teams trailing by 26 points at halftime had a game record of 0-19, with all 19 losses by double-digit margins. The 26-point halftime deficit also becomes the largest halftime deficit ever surmounted by a road or home team for a game victory in a best-of-7 NBA playoff game: In Game 3 during the 2017 NBA Preliminary round, the Cleveland Cavaliers trailed the Pacers in Indiana by 25 halftime points, but won 119-pts-114.
