With their Game 1 victory in St. Louis, the Mets improve their franchise Game 1 record in best-of-7 play to 2-5, while the Cardinals' franchise Game 1 record in best-of-7 play falls to 6-13... After its Game 2 loss, the St. Louis franchise record in second games after Game 1 home losses fell to 5-1, while the Mets took a 2-0 lead in games for the first time in franchise history in an MLB best-of-7 playoff series...
