Series 995 thus improves the Anaheim Ducks' best-of-7 NHL playoff series record to 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the Preliminary round (counting those series in which the Ducks were "Mighty"). Series 995 drops the Minnesota Wild's best-of-7 NHL playoff series record to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Preliminary round. The win order for the victorious Anaheim Ducks in series 995 was WWWLW: Series 995 thus becomes the 13th best-of-7 NHL Preliminary round playoff series, the 40th best-of-7 NHL playoff series (all rounds), and the 67th best-of-7 MLB/NBA/NHL playoff series (all rounds) to follow this specific win order. Anaheim thus defeats Minnesota for the second time in a best-of-7 NHL playoff series, having previously vanquished the Wild in series 886 (in the 2003 NHL Semifinals).
