With the series 1277 loss, the Washington Wizards see their best-of-7 NBA playoff series record fall to 3-6 overall and 0-3 in the Quarterfinals round. The win order for the victorious Atlanta Hawks in series 1277 was LWLWWW: Series 1277 thus becomes the seventh NBA Quarterfinals-round series, the 13th NBA series (all rounds), and the 34th MLB/NBA/NHL series (all rounds) to follow that win order to completion. With victories in the 2015 NBA Preliminary and Quarterfinals rounds, the Atlanta Hawks win consecutive best-of-7 NBA playoff series for the first time as the Atlanta Hawks. The Atlanta Hawks also win their first best-of-7 NBA playoff series after having trailed 1-game-nil: Atlanta had had a 0-18 series record when down 1-game-nil in a best-of-7 NBA playoff series.
